I am still hanging in there with the Scripture Memorization Challenge on the LPM blog...not just hanging in there, but really enjoying it. We are up to verse 12 for the year, not bad for an old grammy who doesn't remember much of anything these days :0)
My verse for this next two weeks is Psalm 27:13-14 "I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord. Be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord." (NIV)
For quite some time I have had a huge, heavy circumstance that concerns me daily. I have been waiting and waiting to see God's answer, often times not too patiently. I like being reminded of the fact that I will see His goodness if I am strong and wait for Him.

Waiting patiently on the Lord can be difficult, but, boy, the payoff is big! It's comforting to know that even when He is silent, He is still working on our behalf. His timing is crucial and always perfect.
Blessings!
Thank you for this reminder...I needed it :)
Happy Tuesday to you.
I'm glad you got the blog mess straightened out - not my strong suit either. If it weren't for my daughter, it wouldn't exist for me! Cute new background.
The verses are right where I need to be, too. I carry a weight of "concern" (which could be called worry) most of the time, which I know is not where God wants me to be. I need to memorize - it's good for the brain and the soul. Thanks for the reminder.
Thanks for stopping by my camp post - I can't believe how much impact camps have had on my life until I sat down and wrote about it. And it continues to the next generation!
Waiting on the Lord, or for anything for that matter, is hard for me. But I know that God will show up and show off in HIS time, not mine. How often I need to remind myself of that!
Way to go on your scripture memorization. I think I may join you in doing so!
Blessings~
